LOS ARBOLES RESIDENCE

Project Highlights:

The owner desired a new residence that was classical in scale and form, but with clean, minimal detail.

The site falls off significantly in back, so we used this to create a hidden 3 car garage at the rear of the home, and put a 2 car garage on the main level adjacent to the kitchen.

Formal living and dining areas are on either side of the bright entry. Beyond is the family room, which opens up to the kitchen and breakfast room.  The family room also serves as a Media Room, and opens onto a large veranda with outdoor kitchen and pool deck.  The Master Suite is on the first floor.  Secondary bedrooms are on the second floor.

The exterior is cut Texas limestone and stucco with a slate roof.

This home responds to the Client’s desire for a clean modern feel, yet still fitting into the neighborhood’s context of traditional styled homes.  This becomes important for resale value.
